Questions, answered.

Which Proxmox VE versions are supported?
PVE 8 and PVE 9, including the newer PVE 9 two-phase TFA login. Self-signed certificates on your cluster are supported, so lab and homelab setups just work.
Does it work with two-factor authentication?
Yes. TOTP accounts are fully supported, including PVE 9's challenge-ticket flow. Credentials live only in your iOS Keychain — the app talks directly to your cluster over TLS and never routes your data through a third-party server.
Can I get it free?
PVE Remote is a subscription app. The weekly and monthly plans include a 7-day free trial, so you can evaluate the full app before paying. Cancel anytime from your Apple account.
My cluster sits behind a reverse proxy or SSO gateway — will it work?
Very likely, yes. The login screen's advanced options let you add custom HTTP headers that are sent with every request to that host — enough for most authentication proxies and gateway-protected setups to pass PVE Remote through. Headers are saved per host, so you only configure them once.
How do I get help if something breaks?
Settings has a one-tap Export diagnostics that builds a ZIP with your device model, iOS version and app configuration flags — never your credentials, host addresses or guest data — ready to send to help@pveremote.com. The file only leaves your device if you choose to attach it to your own email.
iPhone and iPad?
Both. PVE Remote is a universal iOS app: a sidebar layout with side-by-side list and detail views on iPad and wide screens, and a native bottom-tab experience on iPhone — useful when you're in the server room with a tablet in hand.
